The Office incorporates a number of different teams that provide support for: developing partnerships and collaborations; identifying and applying for funding; managing projects and assuring compliance with policy; improving the visibility of research outputs; fostering the impact, intellectual property and commercialisation of research; and the nurturing of research leadership skills through training and skills development programmes. 该办公室还与整个大学的其他专业服务部门密切合作, 尤其是法律服务, 注册表, 学生服务, 金融, 人力资源与图书馆.
